Started out this drawing with the purple squiggle and man, the squiggle became a bird looking thing, lets say its a chocobo from any of the Final Fantasy games. Then i thought the man was more mario-esque, so I wanted a horizon and keep with the pixel/zelda/mario/ff mood. put in shore and bridge and sun then waves, bridge lines and grass. Used the blur tool for the bridge to the grass.
I like how simplistic this is, the good old days of nintendo gameboy color.
